Dermal fillers, containing hyaluronic acid, are injected into the soft tissue under the skin of the shaft giving the penis immediate enlargement and an overall thicker look. The flaccid girth usually increases by one or two centimeters in circumference – depending on the amount injected. It also make the penis look slightly longer because of the added weight. The procedure can be performed on either a circumcised or uncircumcised penis. It is done in office and the penis is fully numbed before starting. Patients can expect mild to moderate temporary swelling and possible bruising after the procedure. Sexual activity can resume 48 hours after treatment in most cases.

The results can last from between 12 and 18 months and should the patient be unhappy with the results the procedure is fully reversible.
