Restoring hair, naturally

Hair loss affects both men and women — whether it's male pattern baldness, female hair thinning, hormonal change or post-pregnancy shedding. The approach at The T Clinic is regenerative: working with the biology of the follicle, not against it.

We offer a layered approach to hair restoration — PRP regenerative therapy, clinic-stocked products with clinical evidence, structured treatment programmes, and stem cell therapy where appropriate. Dr Heyns assesses the cause, the pattern, and the right combination for the patient in front of him.

Four pathways to follicle health

Different presentations of hair thinning call for different combinations. Most patients benefit from more than one approach, applied together.

In-Room Treatment

PRP Hair Restoration

Platelet-rich plasma drawn from your own blood, concentrated and reintroduced into the scalp via micro-injection. The same regenerative technology used in aesthetic and sports medicine, applied to hair.

  • Stimulates dormant follicles
  • Supports new growth and existing hair thickness
  • Non-surgical, no synthetic ingredients
  • Series of 3–4 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart

At-Home Support

Clinical Hair Products

A curated selection of professional hair products kept in stock at the clinic — chosen for clinical evidence rather than marketing claims. Used to support and extend the work of in-room treatments.

  • Topical formulations for daily home use
  • Supplements supporting follicle health
  • Prescribed alongside treatment, not instead of it
  • Dr Heyns reviews your home regimen at every visit

Combined Care

Hair Restoration Programmes

Structured treatment plans combining PRP, products and consultation review. Programmes are tailored to your loss pattern, your goals and your timeline — not a one-size protocol.

  • Personalised initial assessment
  • Combined in-room and at-home protocol
  • Scheduled reviews at planned intervals
  • Adjusted as the hair responds

Regenerative

Stem Cell Therapy

For patients where PRP alone is not enough, or where the loss pattern calls for it, stem cell-based regenerative therapy may be appropriate. Dr Heyns assesses suitability at consultation.

  • Considered for advanced or resistant hair thinning
  • Combined with PRP for layered regenerative effect
  • Treatment protocol determined by Dr Heyns
  • Discussed during private consultation

Treatment benefits

Stimulates New Growth

Growth factors awaken dormant follicles and support the production of new, healthy hair.

Strengthens Existing Hair

Nourishes the hair you already have — reducing shedding, improving thickness and texture over time.

Wholly Natural

PRP uses only your own blood. Biocompatible by definition — no synthetic chemicals, no allergic risk.

Non-Surgical

No incisions, no scarring, no extended recovery. A minimally invasive alternative to hair transplant.

Suitable for Men & Women

Effective for male pattern baldness, female thinning, alopecia areata, and post-pregnancy hair loss.

Minimal Downtime

Return to normal activities the same day. Some scalp tenderness may occur for 24–48 hours.

What to expect

01

Consultation

A full assessment of your hair loss pattern, medical history and goals. Dr Heyns determines the right combination of treatments for you.

02

Blood Draw & Processing

For PRP, a small amount of blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma. Takes about 15 minutes.

03

In-Room Treatment

The scalp is numbed with topical anaesthesia. PRP is injected into areas of thinning using a fine needle. Procedure takes 30–45 minutes.

04

Treatment Course

Typically 3–4 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance every 6–12 months. Early results visible from month three.
